Google will be hosting an event next week on the 15th of October where it is expected that the company will be launching their new Pixel smartphones. However, in addition to new smartphones, it has been speculated that Google could also be planning on launching new laptops as well, one of which is the Pixelbook Go.
Now thanks to the folks at 9to5Google, they have managed to get their hands on what appears to be real-life photos of the Pixelbook Go ahead of its official launch. The laptop sports an interesting design, where the lid looks like a normal laptop, but the base has some kind of ribbed design.
We’re not sure if this is purely for aesthetics or if it could be functional, where it might help stabilize the laptop and prevent it from moving around. Other specs include USB-C ports on each side of the laptop, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and front-facing speakers. We have also heard rumors that it could come with specs like an Intel Core i7 CPU, 16GB of RAM, 256GB of storage, and a 13.3-inch 4K display.
No word on pricing just yet, but with Google’s event taking place next week, we should have all the official details soon.
