However, Google is expected to try their hand at it again with Motion Sense, an upcoming feature on the Pixel 4 smartphone. We’re not sure how exactly it will work, but the folks at 9to5Google have managed to get their hands on leaked promotional videos that show off how the feature could work.
One of the videos showed how Motion Sense can be used to interact with alarms, where instead of groggily trying to reach for our phones, we can simply wave our hands over the device to silence the alarm or to snooze it, depending on your gesture. Alternatively, it could also be used to silence calls where in a similar motion, waving your hand will reject the call.
Google is expected to officially launch the Pixel 4 smartphones on the 15th of October, so check back with us then if you’d like more details about the phones.
