Unfortunately, Apple’s much-anticipated AirPower was canceled earlier this year. This was heartbreaking news for Apple fans and tech enthusiasts wanting to get their hands on a wireless charging device that promised to wirelessly charge supported Apple devices.
However, Nomad – a company responsible for cool accessories has now come up with an alternative to AirPower i.e Base Station Pro.
With Base Station Pro, Nomad aims to target the potential fans and enthusiasts who were waiting for Apple’s AirPower.
Similar to the working concept of AirPower, the new Base Station Pro also utilizes a matrix of multiple charging coils to make the tech possible.
Not just limited to the working but the accessory is covered with a black soft leather finish on which y0u can place your devices comfortably. The device supports charging speeds up to 5W – which is not a bad deal.

The performance of the charger is believed to be on par with other chargers and should not have any noticeable difference for regular usage.
In addition to the performance, it supports charging up to 3 devices at 5W. It also includes a 27W USB-C charger with the device and a USB-C cable to connect the charger.
For now, it does not support charging the Apple Watch. A future iteration of the charger might bring that – but not now at least.
