There plenty of mesh router systems available in the market today, and Linksys’ Velop system is one of them. In fact, the company has recently taken the wraps off their latest offering which comes in the form of the Velop WiFi 6, which as its name implies, will support the latest WiFi 6 protocol.
Some of the features of the Linksys Velop WiFi 6 include the ability to provide enough bandwidth for as many as over 50 wireless devices and can cover homes up to 3,000 square feet. It also supports connectivity speeds of up to 5.3Gbps and is easy to setup, where all you need to do is plug it into your existing modem.
While devices that support WiFi 6 still aren’t quite as common yet, it might not necessarily be the worst idea to start futureproofing yourself, especially if you don’t buying new routers frequently. Unfortunately, the Linksys Velop WiFi 6 does not come cheap. The one-pack is priced at $399 while the two-pack will cost $700, making it one of the more pricier options around.
