For Aladdin, this cartridge will be for the Sega Genesis, while The Lion King will be for the SNES. Now, to be honest, we’re not sure how many of you would still have these consoles lying around and in working condition, but if you do, then you will actually be able to use these cartridges with those consoles.
However, we imagine that these releases aren’t really for playing and more towards collectors. This is because each title will only have 4,500 units available and will cost $100 each, meaning that this is clearly not aimed at the casual gamer. At the same time, if you do want to play these games, there will be regular versions that will be priced cheaper.
For collectors and fans, these cartridges are expected to be coming in early 2020, so do keep an eye out for them because like we said, they will be very limited in their quantity and might sell out pretty fast.
