More Details Revealed About The 2020 iPhone’s Design

According to the rumors, Apple is expected to introduce a pretty radical new design to 2020’s iPhones. So far, Apple’s iPhones have maintained a similar-ish design with some subtle changes here and there, but for the most part, they still share the same design language that we first saw with the iPhone 6.

However, 2020 could see Apple change up the design where last we heard, it could borrow some design elements from the iPhone 4, which many seem to argue is Apple’s best design to date. Now according to a tweet by Ben Geskin, he has revealed some of those potential changes, one of which could be made to the antenna lines in the iPhone.

Right now, Apple relies on plastic for its antenna breaks, but according to Geskin’s tweet, Apple could actually be considering the use of new materials, like glass, ceramic, or even sapphire. These antenna lines are also rumored to be thicker than the current design and could be wider than 1mm. This is said to accommodate 5G, which is rumored to be coming to next year’s iPhones.

Other rumored design changes include Apple potentially bringing back Touch ID, where they might introduce an in-display version of Touch ID in addition to Face ID. Needless to say that this should be taken with a grain of salt for now, at least until more details have been revealed.
