If you don’t live in a country where the Galaxy Fold will be available in, you might be interested to learn that the folks at SamMobile are now reporting that with the next-gen Galaxy Fold, Samsung has plans to make it available worldwide, thus giving everyone a chance to own the device.
Of course, the current price of the Galaxy Fold is putting some customers off as it is about twice the price of a current flagship handset. Hopefully, with Samsung planning on a wider availability, that the prices could be lowered. This also seems to be in line with earlier rumors that suggests that the Galaxy Fold could potentially be an annual release, where it could potentially replace the Galaxy Note series (which could be merged with the Galaxy S series) as Samsung’s second flagship for the year.
Needless to say that you should take it with a grain of salt for now, but if you’re excited to try out foldable phones, next year should see them become more readily available, if you have the cash for it.
