Last year, Razer launched the Nari Ultimate gaming headphones. While gaming headphones are a dime a dozen, with Razer probably contributing half to that, what made the Nari Ultimate stand out from the competition was that it vibrated. This means that in addition to being able to hear your games, it also allows gamers to “feel” their games as well.
We’re not sure if this is purely novel or if there is actual merit to the feedback, but it’s there if gamers want to take advantage of it. The good news is that if you’re a console player and a set of vibrating headphones is something you’re after, you’ll be pleased to learn that Razer has announced that the Nari Ultimate headphones will be coming to the Xbox One as well.
For the most part, the headphones will be similar to the PC version, except that this has been designed for the Xbox One in mind, with Razer claiming that the headphones’ vibrating feature will work with “any Xbox One game”. We’ve yet to try this out for ourselves, so we’ll just take it at face value for now.
According to Alvin Cheung, Senior Vice President for Razer’s peripherals business unit, “The Nari Ultimate for Xbox One was designed to bring an added gaming dimension to all gamers. With Razer HyperSense, we have enabled gamers to experience their favorite titles with unrivaled gaming immersion.” If the Razer Nari Ultimate headphones is something you might be interested in, it is currently available for purchase where it is priced at $200.
