When it comes to gaming, phones can get pretty hot depending on how much processing power is needed. This is why gaming phones are becoming popular as most of them tend to come with cooling features that might not typically be found on a regular smartphone. However, if you’d rather not buy a gaming smartphone, you might be interested in Razer’s new iPhone case.
The company has taken the wraps off a brand new smartphone case designed for Apple’s iPhone. Dubbed the Arctech, this is case that apparently will help keep the iPhone cool during extended gaming sessions. This is thanks to the design of the case which is made up of three layers.
One of those layers is made of Thermaphene that helps transfer heat away from the body of the phone. It will also feature a microfiber layer to cushion the iPhone and protect it from scratches, and then there will be one more perforated exterior polycarbonate/thermoplastic elastomer that will also help protect it from drops and shocks. The case will also be thin enough to support wireless charging.
In terms of compatibility, the Razer Arctech cases will fit the iPhone XR, XS, and XS Max. It will also be compatible with Apple’s new iPhones such as the iPhone 11, 11 Pro, and 11 Pro Max, and also the Razer Phone 2.
