According to Apple, headphones bought from the company, like its Beats and AirPods headphones, will come with one year of hardware repair coverage and up to 90 days of complimentary support. However, in case this isn’t enough for you and you want more coverage, then this plan could be for you.
Priced at $29, this will essentially extend the support for your headphones up to two years from the date of purchase. According to Apple, “AppleCare+ extends your coverage to two years from your AppleCare+ purchase date and adds up to two incidents of accidental damage coverage, each subject to a service fee of $29 plus applicable tax. In addition, you’ll get 24/7 priority access to Apple experts via chat or phone.”
The new AppleCare+ plan will cover the AirPods, Beats EP, Beats pro, Beats Solo3 Wireless, Beats Studio3 Wireless, the BeatsX, Powerbeats Pro, and the Powerbeats3 Wireless. If you’re interested in checking out the new plan, head on over to Apple’s website for the details.
