No matter how good the new iPhones are – it is no longer an exciting smartphone. Of course, if you ought to have an iOS device, it an obvious choice. Sure, the camera is great.
But, if you are looking for a fresh design of your smartphone, you have a lot of Android smartphone options.
However, the cycle of re-using the same design is about to change in 2020 iPhone lineup.
Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, says that the design of the new 2020 iPhone will resemble that of an iPhone 4 – which is surprising.
Of course, it will not be the same but some of the design elements may be inspired by the iPhone 4.
Particularly, he points out the rework of the metal frame (similar to iPhone 4) in the iPhones line up of 2020. It may be a good thing or might just ruin everything – we will have to see about that.
However, he does warn that the production cost might increase because of the new frame. We may not be sure about how the pricing works for the upcoming (planned) device but we hope that it does not end up being an expensive choice for the most.
Of course, the selling point of the new iPhone in 2020 will be the design language. But, because the smartphone market is becoming super competitive – the price will be a factor too.
There’s no official information about the upcoming iPhones. Also, we may not be sure about its name but it could be an ‘iPhone 11S’ or the ‘iPhone 12’ taking the big leap. So, we will have to wait for the official information to explore more on what the analyst predicted.
What do you think of the new iPhones coming next year? Do you prefer a major design overhaul? If yes, will the price be a deciding factor for you?
