Demand For Apple’s iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro Reportedly Better Than Expected

For the longest time ever, whenever Apple released a new iPhone, it was guaranteed to be a smashing success. However, in the recent years, that hasn’t always been the case. While far from being a flop, the combination of a matured market and also ever-increasing prices has resulted in demand not being as strong as it used to be.

However, that could change with the iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro handsets. This is according to Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo who claims in a report to investors that demand for the new iPhones are apparently better than expected. This is based in part on Apple’s online shipping estimates where it seems that the phones are flying off the shelves faster than before.

According to Kuo’s report, “The shipping times of midnight green iPhone 11 Pro, green iPhone 11, and purple iPhone 11 are all two–three weeks or longer. The shipping times of other colors are roughly shorter than ten days. It should be noted that the glass casings of midnight green models are currently facing production issues; therefore, it makes the shipping time longer.”

The analyst seems to also believe that this could be due in part to the new color options that Apple announced. We also reckon that the reduced price in the iPhone 11 over the iPhone XR has also made it a very attractive option for those that don’t want to or don’t see the need to pay $1,000 for a smartphone.
