This is because Corsair has recently launched a new gaming headset in the form of the Virtuoso RGB SE. This is because the headset, as you can see in the image above, looks pretty plain and simple which is not necessarily a bad thing. This makes the headset a lot more versatile where you could use it for non-gaming purposes and no one would think too much about it.
In fact, that’s exactly what Corsair was going for when they claim that the headset be “bridging the gap between gaming headsets and high fidelity headphones.” The company is also boasting that the headset will be able to deliver on “impeccable clarity” and “uncompromising sound”, but whether or not they do remains to be seen.
The headphones will be offered in either a regular version or the SE version, but both models will be wireless. However, despite them being wireless, they do not use Bluetooth. Oddly enough, Corsair has opted to use RF which will require users to plug in a transmitter dongle. If you’re interested in getting your hands on either headset, the Virtuoso RGB will be priced at $180 while the SE version will be priced slightly more at $210.
