Dubbed “Burrito” internally, this is an upcoming feature that is expected to come to the Apple Watch. The best part is that apparently it does not require any new hardware, meaning that this is a feature that all Apple Watch models could get in the form of an update, or at least that’s what we hope.
It will use all the sensors in the Apple Watch to track the wearer’s sleep, and it will even come with reminders to remind users to charge their devices ahead of time so that it will have enough battery to last them through the night. It will also be able to detect if the wearer has woken up ahead of their alarm, in which it will only play the alarm on the Apple Watch and not the user’s iPhone.
There is no word on when the feature will be launched or announced, but Apple is currently set to announce their new iPhones on the 10th of September, so perhaps we’ll learn more about this then.
