Apple Arcade Will Be Officially Launching On September 19

Apple Arcade was initially announced in the earlier part of the year. However, Apple declined to mention when the service will be launched or how much it might cost, but today at Apple’s iPhone event, those details have since been officially confirmed.

Gamers who are looking forward to the service will be pleased to learn that Apple has confirmed that Apple Arcade will be launching on the 19th of September, which is next week. The company has also revealed its pricing where it will cost customers $4.99 a month, although there will be a free 1-month trial before customers commit themselves to the subscription.

In case you’re learning about this for the first time, Apple Arcade is a game subscription service where for $4.99 a month, they will be able to access a catalogue of premium games. These games will not come with ads or in-game purchases and during Apple’s event, they brought on stage a couple of big name developers such as Konami and Capcom who will be launching games on the platform.
