If you’re a Star Wars fan, then you might want to consider getting a subscription to Disney+ because the company has recently dropped the trailer for the upcoming series, “The Mandalorian”. Based on the trailer, it looks pretty good and could be an excellent reason to subscribe to Disney’s streaming service.
The Mandalorian, for those unfamiliar, will be a TV series based in the Star Wars universe. It was announced back in 2018 where it will be written by Jon Favreau who is also expected to act as the showrunner and one of its executive producers. The movie will star Pedro Pascal as the titular character, along with other popular names such as Gina Carano (Deadpool), Giancarlo Esposito (Breaking Bad), Emily Swallow (Supernatural), Carl Weathers (Predator), Omid Abtahi (American Gods), Werner Herzog (Grizzly Man), and Nick Nolte (Affliction).
In case the Mandalorian isn’t a familiar term to you, it refers to a race of people in the Star Wars universe in which the character of Boba Fett is based on. They are typically viewed as mercenaries and bounty hunters, which is what the trailer also seems to be implying. The series will be set a few years after the Return of the Jedi, which means that it has no ties to the current Star Wars trilogy.
