If you’re trying to decide between carriers, how do you make that decision? Do you buy prepaid lines and get multiple phones and see which one offers the best speeds or coverage? Sure, you could go about doing that, although that just seems to be rather troublesome and not to mention expensive.
However, the good news is that if you’re considering T-Mobile and would like to try the carrier’s services, you’re in luck because T-Mobile has announced a new trial program called “Test Drive” in which would-be customers can try out the network for free for 30-days before making their decision.
How this works is that customers can sign up online and have a Coolpad Surf Device hotspot sent to their homes. From there, users can connect their devices to the hotspot and use it for 30 days (or 30GB, whichever comes first).
According to T-Mobile’s CEO John Legere, “Of course, the carriers can’t even get something as simple as ‘try before you buy’ right. They want you to trade in your phone, transfer your life to a new one and burn an entire day switching … just to hope their network works for you.
