While some might argue that using a phone case kind of defeats the point of companies spending so much money investing into the design of a handset, it is more often than not a necessity. This is because of the use of materials like glass and aluminum which scratch easily, and a case at the very least protects it from that.
However, cases also have the upside of allowing us to show off our personality, where some might prefer something slim and subdued, while others might prefer something huge but protective. If you’re looking for a case to show off your personality, Razer might have something for you.
The company has announced that they will now be selling custom phone cases that will feature designs from your favorite game. There are a variety of games to choose from but in case you don’t see your favorite game listed, not to worry because Razer notes that they do plan on adding new designs over time.
There will be two models of cases to choose from, a “Lite” case which offers a lighter and thinner profile, or a “Tough” case that will offer up a bit more durability and protection. Both types of cases will be made from polycarbonate and will be priced at $40 each. Phone compatibility includes the iPhone X, XR, XS and XS Max, Pixel 2 XL, Huawei P10 Plus, and the Samsung Galaxy S10 and S10 Plus. Head on over to Razer’s website if you’d like to check it out.
