The company, known for their rugged smartphone cases, has debuted their new OtterSpot Wireless Charging System. In case the photo above didn’t already clue you in on how it works, basically this consists of several hockey puck-shaped devices, where each of them essentially acts as a power bank that also offers wireless charging.
The idea is that by offering multiple devices at once, you could in theory leave one in every room, or you could actually pick it up and take it with you. So you could have one in your bedroom, one in the study, one in the living room, and another in the kitchen. Each battery will offer up 5,000mAh so it should be good enough for one full charge.
The OtterSpot Wireless Charging System will be priced at $130 for the charging base and one OtterSpot Wireless Battery. Additional batteries and charging bases will be sold separately at $70 each. If this sounds like something you could get behind on, then head on over to OtterBox’s website for the details.
