#IFA19 Just in time for IFA 2019, Dell is updating its award-winning XPS 13 ultramobile laptop with Intel’s latest 10th generation processor, including a 6-cores Core i7 option.
That’s also true for the Dell XPS 13 2-in-1, and we got our hands on the two new computers as Dell was going over the changes with Ubergizmo recently.
The processor upgrade provides a nominal boost in CPU performance of about ~15%, so don’t be too upset if you recently purchased a laptop with an Intel 9th generation CPU.
The XPS 13 and XPS 13 2-in-1 chassis remain pretty much identical to the previous XPS 13 model 9380 announced at CES 2019, but inside, Dell now offers WIFI-6 support, including the Killer AX1650 network interface which is optimized for low-latency.
Upon opening the lid, users will see the thin-bezel display which made the XPS 13 famous. There are various display panels to choose from, but the most interesting one is the 4K with Dolby Vision certification (Yes, 4K on a 13.3” display isn’t a priority for everyone).
These new Dell XPS 13 laptops make their debuts on Aug 27 for a base price of $900 and Dell will show them to the world at IFA 2019 in Berlin. Ubergizmo will be there!
