This is because during the D23 Expo, Disney has announced that all D23 members will be eligible to receive a 33% discount on their Disney+ subscription. This will apply all members, meaning that if you’re a D23 General member (which is free), you’ll still be able to take advantage of it.
This offer is only valid until the 2nd of September so if you want to make use of it, just log into your D23 account and you should be able to see the redemption option. However, we should point out that this will require you to sign up and commit to a 3-year Disney+ subscription. At this point in time, no one knows how good (or bad) Disney+ is, so you’ll be taking a risk.
However, the discount means that you’ll be saving yourself about $33 a year, so that amounts to nearly $100 in savings during that 3-year period. It’s not a bad deal if you think about it, but like we said, no one really knows if the service will be worth subscribing to.
