The Apple Card has been released and many Apple customers are already signing up for it. More recently, Apple published a support document on how you should take care of the Apple Card, which seems a bit odd since other credit card companies don’t really see the need to teach you how to care for a credit card.
However, it is made from titanium and is beautiful to look at, so we get it, you’ll want to make sure that it remains scuff free. As it turns out, you should definitely look seriously into Apple’s support document because in a tweet by user Zed, it looks like less than a month in, the Apple Card is already looking pretty worn.
Zed is a former Apple employee and an early adopter and has actually been using the Apple Card for the past two months. According to his description of his card, it seems that the finish has started to come off on its titanium base, leaving the card looking scuffed up and “dirty”. Now, this is the case with most credit cards where over time, they can get a bit faded, so we can’t say we’re too surprised.
However, if you absolutely want to keep your Apple Card clean, you should definitely look into Apple’s support document on how to clean your card and how to avoid getting it marked up and discolored.
