Amazon’s New Personal Shopper Service Will Send You Curated Clothing

Many high-end fashion outlets have personal shopper services for customers who would like expert assistance when shopping for clothes and don’t mind paying for it. Amazon wants to replicate that service without the normally high costs associated with personal shoppers. It has launched a personal shopper service of its own for Amazon Prime members.

The Personal Shopper by Prime Wardrobe service lets Prime members answer a survey about their fit and trend preferences. It will then send them curated clothing options every month.

The survey questions range from their measurements to budget preferences, cover patterns they like, and the clothing trends they prefer. Users will be able to choose up to 8 of the items that they like from their stylist’s picks and then have them shipped to try on at home for free.

All of the information is fed to Amazon’s stylist team which will then curate the items for the user based on their answers and brand preferences before shipping them out. One the clothes arrive, users have a seven day try on period and they will only pay for the items they keep. If they don’t like the rest, they can just send it back in the resealable box and use the prepaid label.
