If you’re a fan of the headphone jack and do prefer listening to your audio through a wired connection, then you might be slightly disappointed to learn that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 10 could be dropping the port as well. This is according to recent case renders in which it revealed that the upcoming handset will not be sporting a 3.5mm headphone jack.
This is kind of a big deal because Samsung has steadfastly kept the 3.5mm headphone jack on its phones over the years, which includes the Samsung Galaxy S10 that was launched earlier this year. If the renders are accurate, it seems that it is possible that moving forwards, future Samsung flagship handsets starting with the Galaxy Note 10 could be ditching the port.
This is not the first time we’ve heard that the Note 10 could be dropping the headphone jack from its design, so we can’t say that these renders come as a complete surprise. Either way, it’s probably best to take it with a grain of salt for now, but we should have the official details soon as Samsung is expected to officially unveil the handset on the 7th of August.
