Rock Legends ‘Tool’ Will Finally Be Available On Streaming Platforms

While music streaming does appear to be the next big thing and logical step in distributing music to the masses, not everyone has been so eager to hop on board the streaming bandwagon. This is not surprising when you consider that royalty rates for streaming are pretty low, with some artists believing that they are not being compensated fairly.

Legendary rock band Tool was one of the artists who have been holding out on joining streaming platforms, but it seems that they have ultimately decided to get on board with the times. The band has announced via its Twitter page that come this Friday, the 2nd of August, the band’s catalog is expected to be available through streaming formats, meaning that if you’re a fan of the band and would love to stream their songs, you should be able to do just that.

It is expected that all of the band’s music will be made available, including their latest upcoming album, “Fear Incoulum” which is expected to be released on the 30th of August. The band’s songs are expected to find its way to your usual streaming services such as Apple Music and Spotify, so if you’re a fan, do keep an eye out for their music when it does become available.
