Now that the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s third phase is over, many are wondering what will Phase 4 be bringing to the table. There have been rumors about what movies will be part of Phase 4, such as The Eternals and also Shang-Chi. It turns out the rumors were spot on because Marvel has since confirmed their plans for Phase 4.
During the company’s panel at the San Diego Comic-Con, Marvel has confirmed all the movies and TV shows that will make up Phase 4. Starting with the movies, this will include the Black Widow standalone movie that will explore the character’s past. This is set for a release on the 1st of May, 2020.
Then there will also be the Eternals movie set for the 6th of November, 2020, followed by Shang-Chi in February 12, 2021 which will introduce us to the “real” Mandarin. We can then expect Doctor Strange: In The Multiverse of Madness to arrive on the 7th of May, 2021, followed by Thor: Love and Thunder on the 5th of November, 2021.
There will also be a bunch of TV shows launching on Disney+ in between the movie releases, such as The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Wanda Vision, Loki, What If..?, and Hawkeye. Marvel had also recently confirmed that they will be rebooting the Blade movies but noted that it will not be part of Phase 4.
