The AirPods comes with its own charging case that will extend its battery life. However, it can be inconvenient having to carry your phone and the charging case at the same time, and that’s why the Power1 iPhone case on Kickstarter has managed to capture our attention.
The Power1 is a case designed for the iPhone, but it pulls more than one duty where it not only acts as a battery case for your iPhone, but it will also come with a special cutout slot where you can place your AirPods and charge them at the same time. The Power1 comes with a 3,000mAh battery which means that it should be more than enough to charge your AirPods back to full and also juice up your iPhone at the same time.
It is an intriguing project and it will be compatible with Apple’s newer iPhones, such as the iPhone X, XS, XS Max, and the iPhone XR. As for pricing, the company behind Power1 expects it to be priced at $150, but if you’re interested you can pick it up for less by backing it on Kickstarter where you’ll be able to save yourself about $30.
