Launched earlier this year, for those who are interested in getting their hands on a fitness tracker, you’ll be pleased to learn that the Samsung Galaxy Fit has finally found its way to the US where if you’re interested in picking one up for yourself, you’ll be able to do so for just $100, making it one of the more affordable fitness trackers out there.
Back in June, Samsung announced that the Galaxy Fit will be launching in several countries but the US was not one of them, where it was first released in markets such as Japan, Spain, and South Korea. For those who are learning about the Galaxy Fit for the first time, it comes with a 0.95-inch display with a resolution of 120×240.
It will also feature protective features such as water resistance which means that if you wanted to go swimming with it, that should not be a problem either. It will come with a host of fitness tracking capabilities such as walking, running, cycling, and so on. There will also be a built-in heart rate monitor and according to Samsung, it has a battery life that is good for up to a week on a single charge.
It will also support smartphone notifications, although it might not necessarily be the best device for it. Samsung had also announced a budget version of the Galaxy Fit with the Galaxy Fit e, but apparently that will not be coming to the US.
