KitchenAid Has A Google Assistant And Alexa Compatible Smart Oven

Earlier this year at CES 2019, KitchenAid announced a couple of smart home gadgets. One of the devices announced was a smart display and the other was a smart oven called the SmartOven+. For those who are interested in the smart oven, you’ll be pleased to learn that the device is now available for purchase, if you’re willing to spend $3,199.

For those who are learning about this for the first time, the SmartOven+ pretty much does what its name says. This is an oven that is smart and by that we mean that it comes with support for both Google Assistant and Alexa. This means that users will be able to use their voice to control their oven, or through a Google Assistant or Alexa enabled device.

Even if it didn’t come with the digital assistants, the oven itself is pretty smart as it comes with a 4.5-inch LCD and an app that lets you control the device remotely. It can also be used to alert users when their food is ready. There is also compatibility with the Nest thermostat app where users will be notified if they have left the oven on by accident.

However, it does not come cheap. As we said, it is priced starting at $3,199 for the single configuration, but if you need bigger space, a $4,799 model is available for a double configuration.
