As promised in the form of a teaser shared to Facebook last week, HTC has since officially announced the HTC U19e. It was rumored that the U19e could be the handset that HTC would be announcing and as it turns out, it was true. In terms of its specs and features, the HTC U19e will be featuring the use of the Snapdragon 710 and 6GB of RAM, which some have pointed out makes the phone rather similar to the Pixel 3a.
Other specs include a 6-inch 2160×1080 OLED display, a 3,930mAh battery, a dual camera setup on the back which combines a 12MP f/1.8 shooter and a 20MP f/2.6 telephoto lens. There will also be a dual front-facing camera, something that is a bit rare, which combines a 24MP f/2.0 main camera and a 2MP camera that will be used for facial unlock.
There will also be a fingerprint sensor on the back for those who prefer the more traditional security methods. In terms of price, the HTC U19e is not cheap as it is priced at TWD 14,900, which after conversion is around $475.
