Facing issues with Google Calendar this morning? You’re not the only one. The service is down for users across the globe. They’re unable to access the calendar right now as it returns a 404 error message in the browser. Google has also updated its service dashboard to reflect that calendar isn’t operating as it should be.
“We’re investigating reports of an issue with Google Calendar,” says a message on the dashboard. It adds that more information will be provided shortly. It’s pertinent to note that Google notes this as a “Service disruption” instead of a “Service outage.” No other services like Google Maps or Gmail appear to be affected at this point in time.
This issue with Calendar has happened in the same month as the earlier outage which was actually quite a big one. It knocked off Gmail, YouTube, and Snapchat for a while as Google had some problems with its cloud service.
No further information has been provided by Google as yet. The outage will obviously be causing headaches to people who rely on Google Calendar particularly for their business. Hopefully, the company will be able to figure out what’s going on and fix the issue sooner rather than later.
