This new share feature seems to be part of a recent update to Google beta app on Android, where as you can see in the screenshot above, there is a new Share button. This means that users can tap on it and share it with other people via messages, email, and so on. Prior to this, users could share search by copying the URL.
However, the downside is that the URL tends to be rather long sometimes, and admittedly it does contain quite a few characters that might seem a little suspect to those who aren’t too tech savvy, but with this new share feature, users will be able to cleanly share a search with others. Now, the search results will depend from user to user based on location and also personalization, so while you can share the search terms, the results might not necessarily be the same.
This is currently only available for the Google app on Android and for those who are part of the beta, Whether Google plans on rolling this feature out to the main app in the future remains to be seen.
