Facebook’s virtual reality division Oculus is returning to San Jose, California for its sixth annual Oculus Connect conference. The company today confirmed that Oculus Connect 6 will take place on September 25th and 26th. It will certainly have a lot to talk about as Oculus has had quite the busy year since its last conference.
Over the previous year, Oculus has released new headsets like the Quest and Rift S. These headsets enabled the company to cater to more mainstream customers instead of just the enthusiasts who had an appetite and the disposable income for a high-end headset.
The company will be focusing on new content and software improvements at Oculus Connect 6, detailing how it plans to make its products more worthwhile for users. “With Quest and Rift S bringing more people into VR than ever before, OC6 is the perfect moment to think bigger, build smarter, and realize the true potential of what we’re creating together,” the company said in a blog post.
This year’s Oculus Connect will play host to content creators, developers, marketers, and more to explore the technological advancements and discuss the potential of immersive media. Oculus Connect 6 will take place at the San Jose McEnery Convention Center in San Jose, California from September 25th to September 26th.
