Actor Keanu Reeves has been around for a long time and is probably best known for his role in movies such as Speed and the Matrix trilogy. However, the actor has been enjoying a resurgence in popularity through the John Wick series of movies, so much so that the actor is now starring in his own video game: CD Projekt Red’s upcoming Cyberpunk 2077.
This marks the first brand new IP that the studio has released since they concluded The Witcher series of games. Reeves made an appearance during E3 2019 where he came on stage and announced the upcoming game. As you can see in the trailer, the game will feature Reeves’ likeness and the actor is also expected to perform full voiceover and motion-capture for the character.
For those who are unfamiliar, Cyberpunk 2077 is an upcoming game based on the Cyberpunk 2020 tabletop game. It will be released on multiple platforms such as the Xbox One, PS4, and the PC come April 16th, 2020. This means that we still have quite a bit of waiting left to do before we are able to check it out, but if you want to get an idea of what to expect, you can check out the game’s launch trailer in the video above which does an excellent job of hyping the game up.
