According to the report, it seems that carrier is mulling launching their own video streaming bundle in which it will bundle a variety of services into one. This includes the likes of HBO, Cinemax, and also a bunch of other films and TV shows by Warner Bros. It will also reportedly be more expensive than the competition at $16 a month, but considering that it will offer up a variety of services, perhaps it might be worth it for some.
Also, when you consider the fact that HBO Go is priced at $14.99 a month, for customers to fork out an extra couple of bucks to gain access to an even wider selection doesn’t seem too outrageous. However, at the same time there are streaming services offered by the likes of Netflix and Hulu that are cheaper, and let’s not forget that Disney+ is also launching at the end of the year.
In any case, take it with a grain of salt for now, but the report claims that the service is expected to launch in March 2020, so we’ll just have to wait and see.
