Apple provides repair services through its retail stores and while it has over 250 located across the United States, they’re still not enough to cover this massive country. So the company has been providing repair coverage to customers through third-party partnerships. This includes a partnership with Best Buy for Apple-authorized repairs. It has now been expanded to more than 1,000 Best Buy locations across the country.
With 7,600 new technicians that have been certified by Apple, customers can get authorized repair services at almost 1,000 Best Buy locations across the United States. They’re capable of providing same-day repairs for iPhones and other Apple products.
“We’re always looking at how we can reliably expand our network of trained technicians and we’re excited to partner with every Best Buy store so it’s even easier for our customers to find an authorized repair location near them,” said Apple Care VP Tara Bunch.
This is another vote of confidence for Best Buy from a major electronics retailers. Samsung also offers authorized repairs for its Galaxy smartphones through Best Buy stores. Apple is jumping on the same bandwagon, leveraging the retail giant’s massive footprint across the country to ensure that its customers are confident that the job being done on their device is being performed safely and correctly.
