If you use Airbnb frequently when you travel, you might have had a bad experience once or twice. Either the property isn’t what the images made it seem like or the area isn’t as good as you thought it would be. All of these concerns go out the window for the company’s new tier, Airbnb Luxe. If you’re willing to dig deep into your pockets, you can now access unique and spectacular properties through Airbnb for a more luxury travel experience.
There are some incredible properties available through Airbnb Luxe in places like New Zealand, France, South Africa and more. Fancy staying at the Jamaican villa where Ian Fleming wrote his famous spy novels? You can do that too.
The price range for an Airbnb Luxe property is broad. For example, some are available for just a few hundred dollars per night while others, like castles in France, can cost up to a $1 million per week.
The company is offering this tier following its acquisition of Luxury Retreats two years ago. It now offers more than 2,000 handpicked homes across the globe with each passing a 300+ point check to meet the standards in both design and function. All Luxe bookings get 24/7 access to a highly trained and dedicated trip designer that ensures the stay is tailored to the traveler’s unique needs.
