Uber Eats May Offer Unlimited Delivery Pass For $9.99

If you rely on Uber Eats for most of your meals you may notice that the delivery fees can add up rather quickly. To provide more flexibility to regular customers, it appears that the ride-hailing company’s food delivery service will soon offer customers an unlimited free delivery pass. It will be called the Uber Eats Pass and will cost $9.99.

The Uber Eats Pass hasn’t been officially announced but the company has been working on it. App reverse engineering specialist Jane Manchun Wong, who has found many unreleased features in different apps, has discovered this as well.

Customers who pay $9.99 per month for the pass won’t be charged delivery fee for their orders. Given that Uber’s service fee on orders can normally be 15 percent of the order cost, they do stand to save a fair bit of money since that cost often works out to $5 per order.

Therefore, Uber Eats customers who tend to use the service frequently for meal deliveries will be able to save a fair bit of money. This move will certainly help the company build loyalty in the intensely competitive food delivery space.

Uber Eats hasn’t confirmed at this point, though, precisely when it’s going to start selling the Uber Eats Pass to customers.
