We’re at that point in the month when Sony reveals the upcoming free titles for PlayStation Plus subscribers. The company has confirmed the PS Plus free games for the month of May 2019. Subscribers will be able to download two new titles starting May 7th.
What Remains of Edith Finch is the first free PS Plus title for May 2019. The game is from the creators of The Unfinished Swan. It’s an award-winning title which offers a highly original experience. It’s best described as a “slow-burning exploration of family tragedy,” with players discovering more about the Finch family’s untimely deaths through storytelling that’s interactive in a unique way.
Next up is Overcooked, it has been built with local co-op play in mind. It can often offer a hilarious gameplay experience with up to four players. The players can team up to work together as chefs and cook against the clock to turn out dishes for hungry customers. The game places a strong emphasis on teamwork and timing as players need to communicate with each other to create the dishes without setting the kitchen on fire.
Both of these titles, What Remains of Edith Finch and Overcooked, will be available to download for those who subscribe to PlayStation Plus from the PlayStation Store on May 7th.
