OnePlus had endlessly teased the arrival of its new flagship smartphone and the company has finally unveiled the OnePlus 7 Pro today. It’s evidently more high-end than some of the other OnePlus flagship killers that we have seen in the past and that’s reflected in the price tag as well. The OnePlus 7 Pro will go on sale May 17th for $670.
The company had previously revealed that it would introduce a premium display with the device. The OnePlus 7 Pro features a 6.67 inch 90hz 3120×1440 pixel resolution AMOLED display with a fingerprint sensor underneath. It’s powered by the Snapdragon 855 mobile platform, the one that you’ll find in other flagships like the Galaxy S10, with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.0 storage.
There’s a triple camera setup at the back with a 48 megapixel primary sensor, an 8 megapixel 3x telephoto lens, and a 16 megapixel 117-degree FOV ultra wide-angle lens. There’s a 16 megapixel camera at the front which is placed in a pop-out mechanism. There are no notches or camera holes, the front camera pops out from inside the device in just half a second.
Other features include a 4,000mAh battery with support for 30W Warp Charge. OnePlus says that it charge up the device from 0 to 50 percent in just 20 minutes. There’s a dual stereo speaker system which utilizes the bottom firing speaker and the earpiece for stereo sound.
The OnePlus 7 Pro will be available in Nebula Blue, Mirror Grey, and an impending gold and white color. Prices start at $670 for the 6GB and 128GB configuration, going up to $749 based on the RAM and storage configuration. Sales begin May 17th at T-Mobile stores and the company’s own website.
