Netflix has enjoyed quite a bit of success with its original shows, such as Stranger Things whose third season is expected to be released in the coming months. For those who are huge fans of the show and don’t mind collecting a bit of pop culture, you’ll be pleased to learn that LEGO has since unveiled the playset for Stranger Things.
As expected given that this is a playset based on the series, it shows both the regular world and also The Upside Down which the show has yet to fully and properly explore (hopefully it will in the third season). From what we can tell, it features all of the main characters from the show, including the demogorgan, who actually looks kind of cute and less terrifying in LEGO form.
The entire set will feature 2,287 pieces and will cost $200, which isn’t exactly cheap, but then again LEGO sets have never exactly been known for being budget. However, if you’re a fan, it could be of interest to collect it as it does look like a pretty sweet set to own. It is expected to be put up for sale on the 1st of June, but for those who are LEGO VIPs, you’ll be able to pre-order it starting today.
