Nintendo has confirmed its plans for the E3 convention. It’s going to be the world’s biggest gaming convention and Nintendo will have something to share as well during its E3 Direct. The company has scheduled its press event for June 11th.
The Nintendo Direct presentation for June 11th will be streamed at 12PM ET/9AM PT. Nintendo has said that the focus will entirely be on software which basically reiterates its earlier confirmation that no new Switch console will be unveiled at E3 2019.
The new consoles are said to include a cheaper model of the Nintendo Switch and a new, more powerful version to succeed the original Nintendo Switch. The company hasn’t said a word about any new hardware at this point in time. According to recent reports, at least one of these consoles may be launched at some point in the coming months.
The company is already rumored to be working on at least two new Switch models but it seems that none of the new consoles will be announced at E3 this year. So what will the company be focusing on instead in the E3 Direct? We may hear more about games such as Super Mario Maker 2 and a new version of Link’s Awakening.
