In a post on Twitter, the company has announced that they will be testing out labels on conversations on Twitter. As you can see in the image below, this means that during a conversation thread, you can see labels attached to users, such as the original author of the tweet, the user that has been mentioned, and so on.
While the layout of Twitter still remains largely unchanged, hopefully these labels will make it easier for users to keep track of conversations. The company has also been making some changes to its conversation feature in recent times, such as last year where they were testing out a new threaded feature, and just last month, the company was revealed to be testing out a feature that let users subscribe to conversations.
There is no word on when the feature will be released for everyone, if at all, so we’ll just have to wait and see. In the meantime, those who are part of the test can look forward to checking it out in person.
