OnePlus is gearing up to launch its new flagship smartphone in the near future. As always, it’s revealing bits and pieces of information about the upcoming device to build up the hype. A recent tweet from the company has confirmed that the handset is going to have a triple camera system at the back, something that’s now quite common on flagships and even mid-range devices.

What obviously matters is the kind of cameras that make up this setup. The tweet does have the hashtag #OnePlus7Pro which suggests that this camera setup may only be limited to the company’s premium model which will also feature a new display and 5G support.

The camera specs are unclear at this point in time but one can bet that it would include a standard, telephoto, and ultra-wide option. It’s also possible that at least one of those cameras could be a depth sensor. That’s the formula that many other smartphone manufacturers have been applying for the past couple of years.

The technical details may only be confirmed on May 4th when OnePlus finally unveils its latest smartphones. Yes, there will be two of them this year, with the OnePlus 7 being the slightly more affordable option in line with the company’s previous devices.
