Are you a fan of Capcom’s Street Fighter franchise? If you are but have yet to purchase Street Fighter V, then we have some good news for you. The publisher has recently announced that for an entire week, they will be making Street Fighter V Arcade Edition completely free to play. This means you’ll be able to check it out and play the game without paying for it.This freebie is expected to run from the 23rd of April until the 5th of May. This will apply to gamers on the PS4 and also those who get the game through Steam on their PC. For those who have already purchased the game, not to worry because Capcom will be giving you guys some freebies as well.
This includes four DLC characters that will be unlocked for owners of the game, along with Breath of Fire II content. According to Capcom, “As a bonus, four fan-favorite DLC characters will be available for free during this trial: Akuma, Blanka, Juri and Menat! These four characters will only be available in Ranked, Casual, Battle Lounge, Training, and Challenges.”
In addition to the free weekend, Capcom has also announced the sale of several costume bundles, so if you have been eyeing some costumes, now might be a good time to get your hands on them.
