The company has recently taken the wraps off a new TV that they’re calling the Sero. This is a TV that can be oriented in either horizontal or vertical position, meaning that in the event that you encounter a video that’s been shot in portrait mode, you can just spin your spin around and watch it without having to deal with the black bars on the side.
The TV will feature a 43-inch display and will use quantum-dot QLED display technology. There will also be a built-in 4.1 channel audio system, 60-watt speakers, and as expected of Samsung, Bixby will also be part of the TV. It is expected to be released in Korea next month where it will be targeted at millennials who might have $1,600 to spare. Whether or not it’ll find its way stateside remains to be seen, but to be honest, $16,000 does seem a bit expensive, but then again we guess you’d be paying for the novelty.
