Now thanks to a tweet by the ever-reliable Evan Blass, he has hinted that the 5G Galaxy S10 could be coming to Verizon on the 16th of May, 2019. Of course, there’s no way to actually confirm this date, but Blass has been proven right countless times in the past, so it stands to reason that he could be right this as well, but we suppose you should still temper your expectations accordingly.
The 5G Galaxy S10 will be more than just the Galaxy S10 with 5G capabilities. It will feature a larger display of 6.7-inches versus the Galaxy S10+’s 6.4-inches. It will also sport a larger battery of 4,500mAh, and the phone is also expected to come with a quad camera setup on the back.
The phone will be going on sale first in South Korea on the 5th of April where it will be priced at 1.5 million won, which after conversion is roughly $1,320. Whether or not the phone will be priced around that range when it finds its way stateside remains to be seen. In the meantime, testing over in South Korea has found that the phone is actually capable of hitting theoretical speeds of up to 4Gbps.
