Fortnite has teamed up with the Marvel Cinematic Universe before and it’s now doing that once again. The crossover event is timed up perfectly with the launch of Marvel’s next superhero movie, the much awaited Avengers: Endgame. Not a lot of details have been confirmed about this crossover event at this point in time, though.
A similar crossover event took place last year when Avengers: Infinity War was released. Players who found the Infinity Gauntlet around the island at that point in time would turn into Thanos in the game and get special powers which included a higher jump and a very powerful punch.
Fortnite teased this Avengers: Endgame crossover today on Twitter without revealing more details about what it’s going to bring. The event will begin on April 25th which is when the movie hits theaters across the globe. Captain America’s shield might have prominent placement in this crossover event, at least that’s the idea you get when you look at this teaser.
It is, therefore, quite possible that this will also be a limited time crossover which will run for a few weeks at least as the movie dominates charts across the globe. This appears to be the perfect collaboration between a highly anticipated movie and one of the most popular games on the planet right now.
