This should result in videos that offer up more vivid colors as expected from HDR, so if you wanted to take full advantage of the display of the phone, this could be one of the ways of doing it. In addition to support for HDR, unsurprisingly all three Galaxy S10 models will also support Netflix in HD.
However these aren’t the only devices that will get support. Netflix also lists the Galaxy M10, M20, and M30 has devices that will support HD. The company has also announced that pretty much all devices running on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 675, 710, or 855 platforms will also support HD moving forwards.
This means that even if you don’t see your device mentioned specifically on the list, as long as it is powered by any of the Kirin or Snapdragon processors listed, you should be able to stream Netflix in HD. HDR will be a different story so you will need to check from time to time to see if your handset has made the list.
