In fact according to Sensor Tower, it seems that out of all the mobile Pokemon go titles, none come close to what Pokemon GO has made. This includes titles such as “Pokémon Shuffle,” “Pokémon Duel,” “Pokémon Quest,” “Pokémon: Magikarp Jump,” and “Pokémon TCG Online”, all of which when combined with Pokemon GO has earned the Pokemon franchise $2.5 billion, meaning that the other titles have only made $50 million combined.
It’s still a lot of money, don’t get us wrong, but it definitely pales in comparison to what Pokemon GO brings to the table. That being said, it’s not surprising that Pokemon GO is still doing very well. There were times in the past where it felt like interest was starting to wane, but the updates Niantic made such as trading and player battles have convinced many to return to the game.
The company has also been hosting Pokemon GO events around the world which include special items and Pokemon which encourages players to keep on playing (and spending).
